Privacy Policy Proxenos

This information applies to data processing for which proxenos is solely responsible, particularly newsletters as well as inquiries via the contact form.

1. Party responsible for data processing

The controller within the meaning of the GDPR is: proxenos Skill by Design GmbH, Bösendorfer Strasse 7/11, A-1010 Vienna, Austria.

This privacy policy applies to sales-related processing, in particular newsletters and contact forms. Privacy notices for the website proxenos.com as well as for the HeliOX/HeliOS platform can be found in the separate privacy policies.

2nd Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we process your personal data for the purpose of regularly sending you information about our products, offers, news, and other content. As part of the registration process, we generally process your email address, and if applicable your name (if provided), as well as any other voluntary details. The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. If a double opt-in procedure is used for registration to the newsletter, the logging of the registration and confirmation also serves as proof of your consent. In the double opt-in procedure, you will receive an email after registering, in which you must verify your registration by clicking on a confirmation link. Your registration only becomes effective after successful confirmation. Your data will be stored for sending the newsletter until you withdraw your consent or the newsletter is discontinued. Upon withdrawal of consent, we will delete your data unless statutory retention obligations or other legal reasons prevent this. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, for example via the unsubscribe link in each newsletter or by sending a message to the contact details mentioned above. We may use an external shipping service provider to send the newsletter. In this case, the data required for sending the newsletter will be transmitted to this service provider and processed there on our behalf. If the service provider processes data in countries outside the EU or the EEA, or if there are access capabilities there, this will only take place if the requirements of Art. 44 et seq. GDPR are met, in particular through appropriate guarantees such as EU standard contractual clauses or based on your consent, where required.

3. Contact Form

If you send us an inquiry via the contact form, we will process your details to handle and respond to your inquiry and, if applicable, to contact you in connection with our products and offers. Via the contact form, we process in particular your name, email address, telephone number, the content of your message, and the opt-in you have set: "By submitting, you agree that we may contact you about our products and offers." Depending on the content and purpose of your inquiry, processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, insofar as your inquiry is related to the initiation, execution, or termination of a contractual relationship or is necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures, as well as on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, insofar as you give us your explicit consent to contact you about our products and offers. Consent is granted by ticking the corresponding opt-in box and submitting the form. It is voluntary and can be revoked at any time with effect for the future. We store the data transmitted via the contact form only for as long as is necessary to process your inquiry. Insofar as processing is based on consent, we store your data until consent is revoked or until the purpose ceases to apply. Insofar as statutory retention obligations exist or the data is required for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims, we store the data for a correspondingly longer period. The data collected in the contact form is passed on internally to the departments responsible for processing. If we use service providers for the technical provision, hosting, dispatch of notifications, or administration of the form, they process the data exclusively on our instructions and on the basis of an order processing contract pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. A transfer to third countries only takes place if the requirements of Art. 44 et seq. GDPR are met, in particular in the presence of an adequacy decision, suitable guarantees, or your explicit consent. Insofar as the processing is based on your consent, you can revoke this at any time with effect for the future, for example by email to the contact address mentioned above. The lawfulness of the processing carried out up to the revocation remains unaffected. If you revoke your consent to be contacted about our products and offers, we will no longer be able to contact you via the contact form for these purposes.

4. Your rights

In accordance with legal requirements, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, objection, and withdrawal of any consent granted. To exercise your rights, you can contact us at the contact details provided above.

5. Right to object to processing based on legitimate interests

If we process data on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, you have the right to object at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation.

6. Right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, your place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement.

7. Obligation to provide data

The provision of personal data is neither legally nor contractually required, but may be necessary for certain functions of the website. Without certain data, individual functions may not be usable.

8. Automated decision-making

Automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR does not take place.

9. Validity and Changes to this Privacy Policy
